The Verden News
January 1, 1943

Daniel Franklin Protzman was born in Indiana, April 11, 1861, passed 
away at Verden, Okla., December 25, 1942 at the age of 81 years, 8 
months and 14 days.

Mr. Protzman when a small boy moved from Indiana to Severly, Kansas, 
where he has lived all his life with exception of the past 11 years 
he has spent in Verden.

The funeral services were held in the Christian church, Saturday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. C. W. Taylor officiating.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Severly, Kansas. He 
leaves to mourn his departure, one brother, Charles Protzman of 
Verden, also a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment was made in Verden cemetery with Hansen Funeral Home in 
charge of burial arrangements.
