The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 17 March 2003 EDWARD WILTON PRIDDLE Funeral service for Edward Wilton Priddle, 94, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Edward Wilton Priddle was born November 18, 1908, at the family farm, southwest of Chickasha. He passed from this life on March 14, 2003. Parents, Frederick George Priddle and Mary (Guthridge) Priddle, were early settlers in Indian Territory and obtained the farm in the Land Draw at El Reno. Wilton attended Union Center Elementary School and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1927. He also attended the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. He married Helen Frank, July 11, 1942. She preceded him in death in October of 1985. They farmed and milked dairy cows for over 40 years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Lula Sampson, Ruby Albright and Nell Malone. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Carol Wallace, and husband, Bill Wallace, and sister-in-law, Kay Wallace, all of Chickasha; 1 son, David Priddle and wife, Dawn, of Martha, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and their families; Laurie and Kevin Whitener, Nikki and Jon-Ed Moore, Justin and Kacey Wallace, Joshua, Jennifer, and Katie Priddle; 2 great granddaughters: Bethany and Kristine Whitener. Other survivors include two sisters-in-law, Alma Nelson of Yukon, and Mildred Nelson of Oklahoma City; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
