Raymond Orval Robbins was born on January 23, 1944. He died on April 27, 2005 in Chickasha. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star 29 April 2005 RAYMOND ORVAL ROBBINS Funeral service for Raymond Orval Robbins, age 61 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2005, in the College Heights Baptist Church. Rev. James Swain will officiate. Raymond Orval Robbins was born the son of Oval V. Robbins and Audie A. McBride Robbins on January 23, 1944 in South San Francisco, California. He died on April 27, 2005 at his home in Chickasha. He married Dianne Robbins on March 27, 1964, in Whitesboro, Oklahoma. Raymond grew up in Southeast Oklahoma and moved to California during his teenage years. Raymond returned to Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Whitesboro, Oklahoma. After graduation, he began working in the gas industry. Raymond began as an e-ray apprentice and worked his way up to a pipeline inspector. He worked forty-six years in the gas industry. During this time, he worked in every state except Hawaii, for a period of time, he worked in Aleaks on the Alaska pipeline. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Robbins of Chickasha; daughter, Natalie LaBounty of Jenks; daughter, Monica Howe of Lost City; daughter, Valarie Reed of Chickasha; daughter, Tina Want of Chickasha; sister and brother- in-law, Mary & Jim Putman of Roland; brother and sister-in-law, Gene & RayEtta Robbins of Lewisport, Kentucky; sister and brother-in-law, Helen & Jerry Vadnais of Talihina; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy & Paul Long of Talihina; and 11 grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
