Geneva Bailey Roberts was born January 31, 1913, and died December 28, 2003. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 30 December 2003 GENEVA BAILEY ROBERTS Funeral service for Geneva Bailey Roberts, 90, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Geneva Bailey Roberts was born January 31, 1913, in Middleburg, Oklahoma, the daughter of E. W. and Eva (Wood) Bailey, and died December 28, 2003, in Chickasha. Mrs. Roberts and her husband lived in California from 1943-1957, where they had an almond orchard. They then moved to Chickasha and farmed in the Laverty area. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by: Husband, Ernest Roberts, May 23, 1976; brothers: Homer Bailey, Bill Bailey, Emanuel Bailey, Bruce Bailey, and Reford Bailey; sisters: Hester Cates and Lorene Sumners. Survivors include: 1 daughter and her husband, Betty and Bob Hinton of Chickasha; 1 son, Billy Roberts of Chickasha; 2 sisters: Opal Ford of Cement, Oklahoma, Mildred Bishop of Bethany, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren: Gary Hinton and Susan Parr; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special caregivers at Christian Care.
