Rayburn was born May 20, 1933, and died March 10, 2003. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 11 March 2003 BEVERLY J. RAYBURN Funeral service for Beverly Rayburn, age 69, of Alex, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2003, in the Alex High School Auditorium. Rev. Cody Deevers will officiate, and Rev. Justin Ford will assist. Beverly was born the daughter of Rufus Busby and Juanita Louise Sitterding Busby on May 20, 1933, Ninnekah, OK. She died on Monday, March 10, 2003, at her home in Alex. She married Joe Bill Rayburn on March 14, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Beverly grew up in the Meridian Community where she attended school. She later attended and graduated from Pocasset High School in 1951. Beverly had worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone, Chickasha Mobile Homes, Oklahoma National Bank, and Hicks Crutcher Western Wear. For the last twenty years, Beverly had worked for Hays and Gordon Law Office. She was a member of the Alex Southern Baptist Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Juanita Busby. Survivors include: husband: Joe Bill Rayburn of Alex; son and daughter-in-law: Brad and Teri Rayburn of Chickasha; son: Gary Rayburn of Chickasha; brother: Bennie Busby of Pensacola, Florida; brother and wife: Tommy and Vicki Busby of Chickasha; brother: Jerry Busby of Chickasha; sister and husband: Marilyn and Paul Rodgers of Anadarko; sister-in-law: Virginia Rayburn of Alex; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
