Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Callaway-Smith- Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Grice officiating. Burial was held in the Erin Springs Cemetery in Lindsay. Born September 14, 1927 to Goe and Lucy (Yengland) Rouse in Foster, he lived in the Marlow area all of his life. Rouse attended school in Prudy and Lindsay, he worked in the oilfield as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include three sons Johnny Ray Rouse of Belva Garden, CA, Jackie Ray Rouse of Oklahoma City and Charles Keith Rouse of Elk City; three sisters and a brother-in-law Wanda and Jo Hunnicutt and Helen Townsend all of Pauls Valley and Uta McCaurty of Elmore City; and a brother Howard Rouse of Marlow.
