John Edward Russell was born July 1, 1935, in New Mexico, and died on Monday, May 5, 2003, in Chickasha. Services will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 7 May 2003 JOHN EDWARD RUSSELL Memorial services for John Edward Russell, 67, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, May 9, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Eutimio DeLaCruz officiating. John Edward Russell was born July 01, 1935, in New Mexico, the son of James and Lydia Russell. He died May 05, 2003, in Chickasha. John served in the U>S> Army and was stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, where he met his future bride Nadine Duncan. He married Nadine in Hanford, California, on August 1, 1960. John came to Chickasha in the late 1970s and became employed with Gabriel Ride Products, where he retired after twenty-five years of employment on July 1, 1999. John enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Nadine, of the home; two daughters and sons- in-law, Pamela and Jimmy Hobbs, of Chickasha, Cindy and Thomas Vestle, of Durant, Oklahoma; three brothers, Martin, Fred and Luke Russell, all of California; one sister, Wanda Russell; and five grandchildren.
