The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Funeral for Claud Richardson, 86, Ninnekah, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 1982, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Mr. Richardson was born October 4, 1895, in Whitebead, Oklahoma. He died Thursday, January 21, 1982, in a local nursing home. He has resided in Ninnekah for 86 years. Mr. Richardson was a farmer. He was also a veteran of World War I and served in the infantry. He and Mary Merrell were married on December 31, 1924, in Alex. She preceded him in death August, 1967. He was also preceded in death by one son, Charlie Richardson in August, 1938, one daughter, Carmeleta Cofer, December 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Johnson of Ninnekah, and Myrtle Rodgers of Alex, one sister, Cloe Marinos of Anaheim, California, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. ===== Funeral for Claud Richardson was held Saturday with Reverends Mike Butler, pastor of the Alex Southern Baptist Church, and K. E. Tootsie Rains, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Chickasha, officiating. Music was furnished by members of Southern Baptist Church choir. Pallbearers were W. T. Boswell, Horace Moore, Louie Walker, Donnie Cofer, Elton Cofer, and J. W. Calhoun. Honorary pallbearers were Haskell Brand, Charlie Boswell, Floyd Nye, M. B. Boswell, Floyd Still, Doss McConnell, Leonard Owens, Jackie Horn and Bill Still. Interment was in Ninnekah Cemetery, conducted by Sevier Funeral Home, Jodie Sevier and Larry Sevier, Chickasha, Oklahoma --------------------------------------------------------------------
