The Verden News
August 29, 1913


Mrs. Sarah Reid, mother of George and Leonard Reid of Verden, died at 
her home three miles east of Amber, last Sunday, after an illness of 
over two years. The remains were brought to Verden, Monday, and laid to 
rest in the Verden cemetery.

A husband, Wm. Reid and three sons, Morris, George and Leonard survive 
to mourn her loss.

The News extends sympathy to the sorrowing ones in their sad 
bereavement.

and neighbors who assisted us during the sickness and burial of our wife
