Ratcliffe, Jr., 88, of Tuttle was held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Rev. Cletis Lee of Amber officiated. James Walter "J.W." Ratcliffe was born April 1, 1912 in Minco to James Walter Ratcliffe, Sr. and Olivia (Letsinger) Ratcliffe and died Jan. 20, 2001 in Oklahoma City. J.W. married Anna Belle Vanwey on Nov. 13, 1965 in Columbia, Tenn. He had retired from farming and ranching, but had worked in the funeral industry for 50 years. He was a member of the Tuttle United Methodist Church, the Red Red Rose, the Tuttle Roundup Club and the Tuttle Jaycees. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one stepdaughter, Patsy Ann Estes. Survivors include his wife, Anna Belle Ratcliffe of the home in Tuttle; two stepdaughters, Mary Bell of Lawton and Donna Sue Canary of Noble; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
