[Richardson] Rodgers Funeral service for Myrtle G. Rodgers, 76, of Alex, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Southern Baptist Chapel of Alex. Myrtle G. Rodgers was born January 31, 1930 the daughter of Claude and Mary [Merrell] Richardson and died March 7, 2006 in Chickasha. She lived in Grady County all of her life. Myrtle and Warren Rodgers were married June 24, 1976. She worked at Badgetts Machine Shop for 17 years as a machinist retiring in 1989. Myrtle was a member of the Southern Baptist Chapel of Alex. She was preceded in death by: Parents; one brother: Charlie Richardson; one sister: Carmelita Cofer. Survivors include: Husband: Warren Rodgers of the home; four daughters: Linda and Robert Williams of Alex, Oklahoma; Polly and Greg Engelbert of Oklahoma City; Mona and Bill Stagner of Humansville, Missouri; Bernilda and Roger Saxon of Chickasha, Oklahoma; two sons: Steve and Linda Rodgers of Oklahoma City; Douglas and Elizabeth Rodgers of Clinton, Missouri; one sister: Georgia Johnson of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
