All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ The Chickasha Express-Star 19 November 2003 TALMADGE RUTLEDGE Talmadge Rutledge, age 77, passed away Monday, November 17, 2003, at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Talmadge was born February 3, 1926, to John William and Emma Jane (McGee) Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church. His favorite activities included playing his guitars, listening to music, and dancing. Talmadge served our country during World War II. Talmadge is survived by one sister, Lavena Mae Rogers of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Talmadge Rutledge will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2003, at the Laflin Creek Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion, Post Number 23, Lindsay, Oklahoma.
