The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 22 Jul 2002 Otis "Jay" Redden Funeral service for Otis "Jay" Redden, 58, of Chickasha, OK, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Otis "Jay" Redden was born September 8, 1943, in Lawton, OK, the son of J.B. and Theo Redden, and died Saturday, July 20, 2002, in Chickasha, OK. He married Flo Livingston on Oct. 23, 1965, in Smithtown, NY. Jay was in the U.S. Air Force until 1965 then returned to Oklahoma and worked at the Lawton Assessor's Office, then was a cross country truck driver till 1979. In 1990 he returned to college and received a B.S. degree in communications and taught at the Wright Business School in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Southern Hill Baptist Church. Jay was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Redden, one sister, Judith Redden, and his father-in-law, Frank Livingston. Survivors include his wife: Flo Redden of the home; mother: Theo Redden of Chickasha; one son: Eddie and his wife Marcy Redden of Cyril; three daughters: Stacy and her husband Derek Tallent of Verden, Tina and her husband Jarrett Mays of Cyril, and Candi Redden of Chickasha; sister and brother-in-law Kirsten and David Farmer, of Fletcher; twelve grandchildren Karissa, Ciara, Chelsea, Tori, Rya, Allen, Jakobi, Christian, Jayden, Kea, Ereka and Derek; his mother-in-law, Etta Livingston; six brother-in-laws, four sister-in-laws, all of the New York area; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens in Cyril, OK, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
