Mrs. Roden was born Nov. 8, 1936 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to the late Paul and Beatrice (Thomas) Miller. She had been a Yolo County resident for about one year. She was as a nurse for more than 25 years in Southern California. She was also a member of the Jehovah's Witness church. Survivors include Mrs. Roden's children, daughter Leah Roden of Woodland; son Richie Roden and wife Shelley of Portland, Oregon; and son Kevin Roden of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Roden. Private family services will be held with interment to follow at the Shafter Cemembery in Shafter, California. The family rests memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Assisting the family with arrangements is Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
