Ernest Richard Rusten

Ernest Richard Rusten, 76, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home 
Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Sammie Rainey of Trinity United 
Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will be in East Mausoleum.

Mr. Rusten was born in Chandler, Okla., and moved to Amarillo from 
Chickasha, Okla., in 1962. He worked in the insurance business and 
for J.M.H. Management. He retired in 1981. He was a Methodist.

He married Katherine Shaver in Oklahoma City in 1946.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Rusten of Amarillo; a son, Rick 
Rusten of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Rhonda Goodenow of 
Norman, Okla., and Gail Holloway of Amarillo; two sisters, Geneva 
Reynolds of Amarillo and Pauline Boothe of Bethany, Okla.; and four 
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Baptist Saint Anthony's 
Hospice or the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Plains.
