The Verden News
November 10, 1933



Jud J. Savage was born in Lee county, Texas, March 13, 1878, passed away 
east of Verden, November 7, 1933, aged 55 years, 7 months and 24 days.

He was united in marriage with Addie Harrison October 23, 1906, and to 
this union was born 9 children, one passed away in infancy and those 
left to mourn his departure, beside his wife are Leamon, Julia Reed, 
Johnny McCoy, Ida, Pete, Juddie, Jack and Bonnie Loue, also a host of 
relatives and friends.

Interment was made in the Verden cemetery, Wednesday with Rev. C. W. 
Taylor, officiating, and the Hansen Funeral Home in charge of the burial 
arrangements.
