Billy Don Selby was born February 20, 1936, in Filmore, Oklahoma. He was the son of Amos Allen Selby and Goldie Ritter. He died Saturday, February 1, 2003, in Chickasha. He lived most of his life in Chickasha. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Warn. He and LaVerne McConnell were married April 16, 1960, in Live Oak, California. Mr. Selby was preceded in death by his parents: Amos and Goldie Selby; 2 sisters: Janice Rogers and Pamela Selby; 1 brother: Jackie Selby. Survivors include: wife: LaVerne Selby of the home; 2 daughters: Pamela Brinkman of Chickasha, Shelley Binion of Ft. Worth, Texas; 1 son: James Anthony of Grandview, Texas; 7 grandchildren: Chasity Brinkman, Jordan Brinkman, Blake Howell and Brayden Howell, all of Chickasha, Chris Anthony, Mike Anthony and Kyle Anthony, all of Grandview, Texas; 2 sisters: Martha McConnell of Chickasha, Pat Evans of Kaufman, Texas; 1 brother: Terry Selby of Rockwall, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
