She died December 9, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. ========== Chickasha Express-Star Monday, 12 December 2005 JOHNNY LOU [ROWE] SHAFFER Funeral service for Johnny Lou Shaffer, age 78 of Chickasha will be held 10:00 am Tuesday December 13, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Johnny Lou Shaffer was born June 12, 1927 at Shidler, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John B. and Zella (Smithson) Rowe. She died Friday December 9, 2005 in Oklahoma City. She and Frank P. Shaffer were married August 1, 1946 in Borger Texas. Mrs. Shaffer had lived in Chickasha since 1957. She worked at the Grady County Court House as Deputy Court Clerk for almost 30 years. She retired 12 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Roy Lee Rowe and her daughter Ella Mae Schneider. Survivors include: Her husband Frank P. Shaffer of the home in Chickasha; One son : Jake Shaffer and his wife Mignon of Chickasha; Six grandchildren: Phil Shaffer and wife Melanie of Joshua, Texas; Chad Schneider of Chickasha; Scott Shaffer of Chickasha; Shelby Schneider-Felix and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City; Great- grand children: Braden and Cade Shaffer and Heston Shaffer; One sister: Mary Overlease of Skiatook, Oklahoma.
