Stewart was born Sept. 20, 1940, and died on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 January 2003 HALLIE B. STEWART Funeral service for Hallie B. Stewart, 62, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2003, at the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. Hallie B. Stewart was born September 20, 1940, in Dunlap, Tennessee, the daughter of Owen and Ova (Williams) Austin and died January 9, 2003, in Chickasha. Mrs. Stewart lived in the Chickasha area for over 20 years. She worked at Grady Memorial Hospital and later worked at Delta Faucet for 10 years, retiring in 1991. She and Harold Stewart were married October 27, 1979, in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: parents, Owen and Ova Austin; 2 brothers: Willard Lee Austin and James Owen Austin; 1 sister: Anna Elizabeth Austin. Survivors include: husband, Harold Stewart of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and David Rhoads of Yukon, Oklahoma; 1 son and daughter-in-law: John and Ginny Gaines of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren: Trey, Taylor, and Jessica of Phoenix, Arizona, Corey, Hallie and Seth of Yukon, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Buck Austin of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Sue Hensley of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Loretta Jackson and husband, Glen, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister- in-law: Carman Austin of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 5 stepchildren: Demi, Tommy, Kim, Kevin, and Harold; 12 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
