He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theater. For the past 30 years he was a poultry farmer. Mr. Sitterding is survived by his wife, Fay Ferguson Sitterding of Madera; one daughter, Linda Sitterding of Madera; his mother, Lila Sitterding of Chickasha, OK; two brothers, Jack Sitterding of Chickasha, OK and George Sitterding of Fresno, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Rufus Busby of Chickasha, OK and Mrs. John Moncrief of Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Worden Funeral Chapel in Chowchilla. Burial will follow in the Chowchilla District Cemetery.
