SITTERDING John F. Sitterding, 71, died Friday in Fresno, Calif., after a long illness. He lived in Chickasha for 50 years. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. He came to Chickasha in 1901 from Sauers, Ind., where he was born on Nov. 28, 1882. He resided here until moving to Fresno in 1949. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Lila; five sons, Beryl Sitterding, of Fall City, Wash.; George Sitterding, Fresno, Calif.,; James Sitterding, Decoto, Calif.; Jack Sitterding, Hayward, Calif.; and Billy Sitterding, Madera, Calif.; three daughters, Miss Nadine Sitterding, Fresno; Mrs. John Moncrief and Mrs. Rufus Busby, Chickasha; four sisters, Mrs. William Gardner and Mrs. W. C. Steinmetz of Chickasha; Mrs. John Rasberry of Cement, and Miss Minnie Sitterding of San Francisco, Calif.
