Cook on Tue, 05 Sep 2000 Surname: SITTERDING, STEINMETZ, GARDNER, RASBERRY, BROWER, GOETTING, ERSLAND, WALKER, DRISKILL, STRICKLAND FINAL TRIBUTE PAID SITTERDING Funeral services for Jess Sitterding were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home by Rev. K. H. Schaaf, pastor of the First Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Sitterding died April 3 following a heart attck while working on a government project at San Bernardino, Calif. Music for the services was furnished by Miss Erma Ruth Schaaf, Mrs. K. H. Schaaf and Mrs. Frank Lockerse, accompanied by Boyd Gilkey, orgnist. Their selections included "Jesus Saviour, Pilot Me", and "My Faith Looks Up to Thee". Pallbearers were John Brower, Chauncey Goetting, Arthur Ersland, W. E. Walker, Stanley Driskill and Earl Strickland. Surviving members of the family include four sisters, Mrs. W. C. Steinmetz and Mrs. William Garder, Chickasha; Mrs. John Rasberry, Cement, and Miss Winnie Sitterding, Petaluma, Calif; and one brother, John Sitterding, Chickasha.
