Officiating Clergy was Rev. Gene Strothers of Maranatha Baptist Church. Mrs. Sitterding was born December 23, 1889 at Elgin, Texas and passed away December 25, 1983 at Chickasha. She and John F. Sitterding were married on May 10, 1907, in Chickasha, OK. Mrs. Sitterding came to Grady Co. in 1901 from Texas. She was preceded in death by: both parents, James and Marguerite Douglas, 5 children - Geraldine, James, Beryl, Billy and Nadine; her husband, John; 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by: 2 sons - George Sitterding of Mustang, Jack Sitterding of Chickasha; 2 daughters - Zuma Moncrief of Oklahoma City, Juanita Busby of Chickasha; 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons: Bennie Jon Busby, Tommy Busby, Jerry Busby, Joe Bill Rayburn, Brad Rayburn, and Jeff Busby. Interment ws held in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.
