STEWART Funeral services for Buford E. Stewart, 72, of Chickasha. Okla., will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Buford W. Stewart was born Jan. 9, 1931, and died on Thursday, May 1, 2003. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 4 May 2003 BUFORD E. STEWART Funeral service for Buford E. Stewart, 72, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Buford E. Stewart was born January 9, 1931, in Alex, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Annie (Bedford) Stewart, and died May 1, 2003, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was a retired teacher, preacher, and carpenter. Mr. Stewart and Ruby Fields were married October 7, 1950, in Alex, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by: parents: Robert and Annie Stewart; 1 son: Glen Dale; 1 daughter: Nola Ruth; 3 brothers: Elmer, Leonard and Joseph (Bobby Joe). Survivors include: wife: Ruby Stewart of the home; 3 sons: Phillip Stewart of Chickasha, Tim Stewart of Bridge Creek, and Michael Stewart of Chickasha; 1 daughter: Anita Settle of Chickasha; 3 sisters: Amaleta Hightower of Duncan, Oquanah (Connie) Hughes of Alex, Hiwanah (Joan) Wood of Rush Springs; 7 grandchildren.
