Funeral Services For
John Swain Held Wednes.


Funeral services for John Swain, age 28, who died from a wound inflicted by 
the accidental discharge of a gun at Wink, Texas, Saturday were held here 
Wednesday afternoon at 8 p. m.

Rev. Harmon of Anadarko had charge of the services and interment made in the 
Verden Cemetery.

John, was reared here and is a son of Mrs. Florence Swain, who resided here 
until about a year ago when she moved to Chickasha and purchased the Star 
Cafe.  Deceased leaves to mourn his departure beside his dear mother, three 
brothers, Clyde, Jack and Bobbie, and a sister, Mrs. Joe West of Pampa, Texas
