Dave Etta "Davie" Frances Smith was born December 20, 1942, in Texas and died Thursday, September 20, 2001, at her home in Chickasha. Dave Etta had lived in Chickasha for the last 17 years. She and Roy Smith were married September 20, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dave Etta worked for Leisure Time Pools in Oklahoma City. Survivors include: her husband: Roy Smith of the home; parents: Ed and Betty King of Oklahoma City; 2 sons: James Dean and wife, Sherry, of Oklahoma City, Donnie Dean of Spring, Texas; I daughter: Stacie Everwien of Chickasha, Oklahoma; stepson: Eric Smith and wife, Rebecca, of Amber, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Ally Dean of Spring, Texas, Michael Riley and wife, Rebecca, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Billy and Erin Riley of Chickasha, Oklahoma; great grandchildren: Alexander and Nathan Riley of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Billy Blockoski of Enid, Oklahoma, Claude Anderson of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Paula J. Chronister of Enid, Oklahoma, Linda Erickson and husband, Carl, of Del City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; Leisure Time family and many friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
