Alvin Roberts, pastor, and Rev. T.D. Gifford, First Assembly of God, Elk City, officiating. Mrs. Smith died Thursday, July 26, 2001, in a Chickasha hospital. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, OK, under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born May 13, 1913, in Tishomingo, where she grew up. She married William C. "Bill" Smith, April 21, 1930, in Tishomingo, then moved to Cement, where she had lived since. She had pastored several churches: Agawam Pentecostal Holiness for 12 years, Cement Pentecostal Holiness for 5 years, and was active in the jail ministry in which she visited the Caddo County jail. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cement and loved to sing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher Franklin Cobb and Ella ( Welch) Cobb and her husband, Bill. She is survived by 3 daughters: Carolyn Vree Walker and her husband, Purcy, of Elk City, Mary Kay Cagle of Binger and Cheryll LaJoy Flow of Edmond; 2 sisters, Laura Spray of Houston, TX, and Sarah Gunter of Ft. Worth, TX; a brother, Frank Cobb of Moore, OK; 5 grandchildren: Purcy Dale Walker, David Walker, Kristy Olinger, Jamie Flow and Kendon Cagle; 11 great grandchildren, Brandon Walker, Andy Walker, Crystal Walker, Daniel Walker, Kimberly Walker, Candace Walker, Tara Olinger, Tyson Olinger, Tasha Cagle, Colby Cagle and Noah Cagle; 2 great great grandchildren, Ethan and Adriauna Walker.
