Smith was born Nov. 17, 1914, and died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2002. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 30 October 2002 ANN A. SMITH Funeral service for Ann A. Smith, age 87, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held on Friday, November 1, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel, J. D. Cash will officiate, and Jim Sheerer will assist. Ann Smith, the daughter of John Yoder and Nettie Graves Yoder, was born on November 17, 1914, in Weatherford, Texas. She died October 28, 2002, in Chickasha. Ann moved to Chickasha early in her life. She married Loran Smith on May 8, 1935, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. After their marriage, they made their home in Chickasha. Ann was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. Her husband, Loran Smith, and an infant daughter, Maxine Smith, also preceded her in death. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Lorene and J. D. Cash of Centerville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Betty Smith of Seminole; granddaughter and husband, Paula and Kevin Taylor of Seminole; granddaughter and husband, Joanna and James Leslie of Dayton, Ohio; grandson, David Cash of Houston, Texas; grandson and wife, Mark and Kristi Cash of Ft. Davis, Texas; seven great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Stallings of Chickasha; sister, Evelyn Russell of Shelbyville, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
