Rev. David Taylor will officiate. Family visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at Sevier Funeral Home. Mr. Quinton Smith died Sunday, October 27, 2002, in Winnsboro, at the age of 83. He was born August 15, 1919, in Moody, Texas, to the late Luther Jackson and Nora Miller Smith. Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a member of the Elks Club and the Eagles Organization. He was a former resident of Chickasha, OK, having moved to Winnsboro three years ago. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Faye Smith, and by one brother, J. W. Smith. Survivors included his wife of sixty years, Faye Langsford Smith of Winnsboro; sons, Q. J. Smith, Jr., of Winnsboro, and Terry Lee Smith of Rowlett, TX; sister, Lorraine Chamblins of Kerrville, TX; six grandchildren an d seven great grandchildren. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home Inc., of Winnsboro. --------------------------------------------------------------------
