Geraldine Rose Pearcy Smith was born April 21, 1921, and died on Monday, Nov. 11, 2002. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ============ Chickasha Express Star - 13 Nov 2002 Geraldine Rose Pearcy Smith Graveside service for Geraldine Rose Pearcy Smith, 81, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2002, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha. Geraldine Rose Pearcy Smith was born April 21, 1921, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert Hugh and Verda Lee (Dudgeon) Pearcy, and died November 11, 2002, in Chickasha. Geraldine graduated from Chickasha High School in 1939. She lived in and around the Chickasha area all of her life. She retired from Arkla Gas Company. Geraldine and William Smith were married December 16, 1939, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Darleen Eichenberger. Survivors include: 2 sons and daughters-in-law: LeRoy and Jonnie Smith of Chickasha, Marvin and Susan Smith of Chickasha; grandchildren: Tim and Lisa Smith of Chickasha, Garry and Mika Smith of Chickasha, Terri and Jay Chandler of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sharry and Tim Layman of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Jeff and Mindi Smith of Chickasha, 2 great grandsons and 4 great granddaughters; 3 sisters and 3 brothers: Agnes McClain, Emma Lee Black, R.H. Pearcy, A.J. Pearcy, Tommy Pearcy, Mary Louise Pfeiffer. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
