Info in parentheses provided by submitter Rites Monday For Mrs. Smith (Mary Elizabeth (Nash) Smith 01 Feb 1890 - 04 Sep 1953) Mrs. Mary E. Smith, 63, of Norman died Friday morning in an Oklahoma City hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday in the Central Church of Christ. Interment in Fairlawn Cemetery will be under direction of the Brown Funeral Home. Born and reared in the Indian Territory, Cole County, she resided for the past 26 years in Chickasha and in Norman for the past year. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Chickasha for the past 19 years. Survivors include her husband, E. D. Smith of the home address; five sons, Carl Smith of Mountain Home, Ark., Ray and Loren Smith of Chickasha, Elmo Smith of Bakersfield, California, and R. B. Smith of Roswell, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. Sevola Cates and Mrs. Malto McDonald of Chickasha, Mrs. Mamie Anderson of Cyril, and Mrs. Juanita Burks of __allowater, Tex.; one brother, Mark Nash of Foster; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Watson of Palestine, Tex.; 26 grandchildren and __ree great grandchildren. Services Held For Mrs. Smith (Mary ELizabeth (Nash) Smith 01 Feb 1890 - 04 Sep 1953) Final rites for Mrs. Mary E. Smith were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Central Church of Christ by Bob Hawkins, pastor. Assisting minister was J. D. Rothwell, former pastor. Singers were Mrs. Henry Paddock, Jimmie Smith, Gene Tindel and Roy Finley. They sang "Hold to God's Unchanging Hand," "Face to Face," "Shall We Meet," and "Sometime We'll Understand." Pallbearers included Ross Chandler, J. O. Duncan, Virgel Heatley, Earl Morse, Ed Givens, and Bob Eskridge.
