All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Chickasha OK The Chickasha Express-Star Monday, 12 September 2005 CLAYTON EARL AND CYNTHIA ANN SMITH Funeral services for Clayton Earl Smith, 55, and Cynthia Ann Smith, 53, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church. Clayton and Cynthis were married July 31, 1999, Clayton Earl Smith was born August 14, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of O. C. and Virginia (Cornwell) Smith and died September 10, 2005. Clayton lived in Chickasha most of his life. He graduated from Chickasha High School. Clayton was manager of Chickasha Iron Works for 21 years. He was currently working at Johnson Easy Car Credit. He also served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was preceded in death by: Parents; survivors include: one son: Eric Smith of Chickasha; one daughter: Toni Smith of Chickasha; two sisters and their husbands: Jo Marie and Bill Johnson of Temple, Texas; Ginger and J. T. McCasland of Anadarko, Oklahoma; three uncles; Leo Earl Smith and wife Velma of Oklahoma City; William James Smith of Oklahoma City; Bill Parks and Diana of Goldsby, Oklahoma. Cynthia Ann Smith was born May 1, 1952 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Sam T. and Penny (Grigg) Marcom and died September 10, 2005. Cynthia lived in Lindsay for 17 years. She graduated from Chickasha High School. She moved back to Chickasha from Oklahoma City in 1998. Cynthia worked for the Oklahoma Cardiovascular Hospital. She was preceded in death by: Father: Sam Marcom. Survivors include; three sons and their wives: Quint and Bobbie Cowan of Tuttle; Kyle and Carla Smith of Ft. Worth, TX; Cody and Amber Clingman of Lindsay; mother: Penny Marcom of Duncan; two sisters: Sonja Mask and husband Randy of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Kathy Newby of Oklahoma City; their grandchildren: Beth Richardson, Tayller Cowan, Lexi Cowan, Riley Cowan, Tanner Smith, Tyler Smith, Hunter Smith and Krystin Clingman. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star No date ELDERLY DRIVER IN FATALITY ACCIDENT MAY BE CHARGED By Jason Clarke Staff Writer A decision is still pending from the Districk Attorney's Office on whether charges will be filed against the driver from Saturday night's double fatality in Ninnekah. Assistant District Attorney Lesley March said a decision should be made today on whether or not Charles W. Harrison, 74, of Lindsay, will be facing either misdermeanor or felony charges.
