Jarald M. (Jay) Smith

Jarald M. (Jay) Smith, age 65, of Salem, Oregon, died Thursday, 
January 8, 2004. He was born May 11, 1938, in Chickasha, OK, the son 
of Herman and Beryl Smith. He and Mame were married July 16, 1962. 
She preceded him in death on May 17, 2002. He was also preceded in 
death by his parents; 2 brothers: Tommie and Jackie Smith; 2 sisters: 
Bobby Jean and Dee Whitener.

Survivors include 2 sons: Buster Kidd and wife Rosa of Salem, Oregon, 
Joey Kidd of California; daughter, Randy, and husband Dennis Ehart of 
Escondido, California; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Betty Porter, 
Chickasha, Wanda Paddaek of Medesto, CA; 2 brothers: J.C. Smith of 
Chickasha, and Darald (Bub) Smith of Moore, OK.
