She united with the Baptist church at the age of eleven years. Reared by devoted Christian parents, Aline was everything a little Christian could be. Her sweet disposition and quiet manner won her many friends. To know her was to love her. She was loyal to her church and her Sunday school, she was a Bible student, always knowing her Sunday School lesson and manifesting the Christian spirit in her answers. She was always thoughtful of others; when her 14th birthday found her upon her bed of affliction she requested that her birthday offering be turned in to the Sunday School to be sent to the orphans home. "By their works Ye shall know then." Aline leaves, besides a host of friends and relatives, a father, mother, sister and brother to mourn her home going. We extend to the family our deepest sympathy and prayers for we know the home is sad and that Aline will never return to it for she has gone to her reward. But thanks be to our Heavenly father for that consolation that none other can give when our loved ones fall asleep in Jesus. "Yet 'twill only be a sleep When with songs and dewy light Morning blossoms out of light She will open her kindly eyes 'Neath palms of Paradise While we foolish ones weep."
