Rev. Edward Whitley will officiate. Doris Fay Sanders was born on June 29, 1933, the daughter of Rufus Daniel Mangus and Eula Mae Thornberry Mangus, in Longdale, Oklahoma. She died on Thursday, July 5, 2001, at her home in Verden. Doris grew up in Minco. She married Rex Sanders on June 1, 1960, in El Reno. After her marriage they moved to Pocasset. They later moved to V erden where she lived for thirty-eight years. Doris worked as an Avon Sales Representative for twenty-two years. She was a member of the Avon Presidents Club. She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Kenneth Sanders. Survivors include her husband, Rex Sanders Sr., of the home; daughter, Jodean Glass of Chickasha; daughter, Veronica Hendricks of Bakersfield, California; son, Rex Sanders, Jr. of Verden; son, C.D. Sanders of Amber; daughter, Kimberly Killman of Verden; mother, Eula Mae Mangus of Chickasha; brother, Donald Mangus of Bloomington, California; sister, Laverne Clevenger of Tuscon, Arizona; sister, Della Faulkinberry of Minco; brother, Delbert Mangus of Bridge Creek; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren. Service will be under the direction of the McRay's Verden Funeral Home.
