Timmothy (Timmy) Shawn Sanders was born June 12, 1968, and died on Monday, July 14, 2002. ==================== The Chickasha Express-Star 17 July 2002 TIMOTHY "TIM" SHAWN SANDERS Funeral services for Timothy "Tim" Shawn Sanders, age 34, of Alex, Oklahoma, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2002, in the Dibble Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Louis Cox will officiate, and Rev. Robert Dye will assist. Tim was born on June 12, 1968, the son of Jimmy Sanders and Fredia Mills Sanders, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He died on Monday, July 15, 2002, in a car accident north of Alex. Tim grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Schools. He worked in the oilfield and also worked in commercial construction as a rock layer. Tim enjoyed football and going to the race track. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather. Survivors include: his wife, Charlotte Sanders, of Chickasha; stepson, Zack Burns, of Chickasha; mother, Fredia Sanders, of Chickasha; father and stepmother, Jimmy and Judy Sanders, of Chickasha; brother, Rusty and Angie Sanders, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sister, Angela Brock, of Chickasha; grandmother, Fern Matthews, of Oklahoma City; three nephews and one niece; many aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends. Interment will be in the Dibble Cemetery in Dibble. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
