The Verden News

Leonard Monroe Sanders, son of J. M. and Anne E. Sanders, was born 
February 26, 1900, died March 13, 1933, age 33 years and 15 days.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church, Thursday, March 
16, 1933, at 330 p. m. by Rev. H. E. Snodgrass.

Mr. Sanders died while away taking treatment at Memorial hospital at 
Gotham, New York Tuesday, and his body brought here to be buried beside 
his mother in the Verden Cemetery. With his family he was living on a 
farm 7 miles east of Verden.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his widow and 2 children, his father of 
Oklahoma City. Also, he is a nephew of E. W. Peters of Verden.
