SANDERS, OCT. 10 Funeral services for J. M. Sanders, 90, of Olka. City and formerly of Verden, will be conducted at the Street and Draper Funeral chapel in Okla. City Friday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Verden Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Sanders died Tuesday night in the St. Anthony Hospital, Okla. City, of a heard ailment. He was a pioneer state resident and at one time he served as deputy United States marshall. He was born at Denton, Texas and came to Oklahoma in 1874, before statehood. In 1889 he homesteaded near Jones, Okla., lived near Union City and later moved to a farm three miles north of Verden where he lived for many years. He moved to Okla. City 25 years ago where he has since resided. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. His wife, who preceded him in death, is buried in the Verden Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Leo and Earl F., both of Okla. City; 7 grandchild ren, 12 great grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews. Mr. Sanders was a brother-in-law of Mr. E. W.
