The Verden News
September 4, 1925


M. C. Simmons died Tuesday night at the Cottage hospital at Chickasha 
after two weeks illness. Mr. Simmons has resided 5 miles north of Verden 
the past 4 years.

Deceased leaves two sons, Carl and Floyd with other relatives to mourn 
his death.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Atley at the Baptist church 
here Wednesday at 3 p. m. and interment made in the Verden cemetery.
