All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Star 2 June 1966 SIMMONS SERVICES HELD Funeral services for Mrs. Ines Rebeccah Simmons were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Barrett, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Edward Whitley, pastor for the Pentecostal Church of God. Mrs. W. A. Finley, Mrs. Dale Henricks, Mrs. Chester Heavin and Mrs. Harry Dodson, accompanied by Mrs. Donald Brown at the piano, sang "In TheGarden," "Precious Memories" and "How Great Thou Art." Casket bearers wer V. E. (Chuck) Griffith, Dank Pitts, Orin (Doc) Heavin, Ben Groves, Don Wright and Bob Holman. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of the Hansen Funeral Home. Mrs. Simmons was born September 18, 1905 in Morgan County, Mo., and passed away May 27, 1966, at Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was married to Carl M. Simmons December 17, 1940. One child preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Billy K. Simmons of the home and James Robert (Bobby) Simmons of the United States Navy, stationed in Hawaii; two brothers, Beryl Phillips of Artesia, N.
