All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 22 September 2004 GLEN JAY TABOR Glen Jay Tabor, 72, of Chickasha, died Sunday, September 19, 2004, in his home. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church Chickasha with the Revs. Johnny Tims and S. K. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Rocky, OK. Glen was born March 23, 1932, in Rocky, OK, to Fred and Dorothy Tabor. He was a member of First Baptist Church Chickasha. Glen proudly served in the U.S. Army beginning at age 18, serving tours of duty overseas in the Korean War, earning several medals. After his military service, Glen was an independent retailer until his retirement in 1998. He was a wonderful, spirited father and friends. Survivors include a daughter and spouse, Jeff and Michelle Moore of OKC; daughters, Carla Black and Sarah Tabor of Chickasha; Leslie Tabor of Shawnee; grandchildren Rhonda, Jennifer, Jessica, Justin and Robert; half- brother and spouse Bob and Joyce Linderer of Iroverde, AZ; half-sister and spouse John and Jean Schwab of Woodward; stepbrothers and spouses Harold and Eloise Linderer of Clinton and Herb Linderer of Camp Hill, PA; stepsisters and spouses Roy and Ann Kelley of Enid and Clarence and Pauline Mansfield of Arapaho; uncle and spouse S. K. and Pat Robinson of Manitou; cousins and spouses Donnie and Janis Robinson of Piedmont, Shirley and Bill Swinford of Piedmont, Jack and Diane Robinson of Piedmont, Alma and Terry Dorrell of Apache and Linda and Blake Winn of Piedmont; and a host of family including grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
