Tuttle was born April 14, 1907, in Mangum, Okla., and died on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in Chickasha. Tuttle, 94, of Chickasha, were held Saturday, March 23, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery, with Reverend Esten Leonard officiating. Eunice V. Tuttle was born April 14, 1907, in Mangum, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elmo Davis and Della Mitchell Davis. She died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in Chickasha. Eunice grew up in Mangum, Oklahoma, moving with her family to Lubbock, Texas, as a young girl. She attended Lubbock schools and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1926. She married Cecil Tuttle in Lubbock, Texas. Eunice was a master reweaver, learning her trade from Cochren Cleaners. She had an extreme talent for her profession and was known throughout the United States for her beautiful work for over thirty years. She came to Chickasha in 1992 from Liberal, Kansas. She enjoyed reading the Bible and writing. She was an accomplished writer, publishing four of her works. She was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, a sister and one grandson. Survivors include her daughter, Billie J. Burrows, of Chickasha; one brother, M. D. Davis, of Wolfforth, Texas; one granddaughter, Allana J. Dohm, of Chickasha; three grandsons, Rodger R. Holmes, of Liberal, Kansas, Stacey M. Holmes, of Chickasha, and Kelly W. Burrows, of Ninnekah; five great grandsons, Kenneth W. Dohm, of Chickasha, Glenn and Brian Holmes, of Liberal, Kansas, Andrew Holmes, of Chanate, Kansas, and Cody Burrows, of Ninnekah; two great granddaughters, Karen W. Verser and Destinee J.
