The Verden News
June 19, 1914


As we go to press today we are informed that Allen Toles (colored) who 
lives a mile south of Verden had died. He passed away after an illness 
of many months. He was well known in this neighborhood, being one of the 
early settlers in this section. A wife and four children survive him.
