All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 19 October 2003 KAREN JEAN RANDLE TAYLOR Karen Taylor was born March 26, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, to Harrel and Wanda (Milam) Randle. She passed away after a long illness at her home in Bridge Creek. She was 47 years old. Karen graduated from Verden High School where she was a member of the FHA and a cheerleader for the Verden Basketball team where she also played basketball. She was a very gifted writer of poetry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Verden. Survivors include her husband: Dave Taylor of the home in Bridge Creek; sons: Eric and wife, Tisha Jantz of Chickasha, Dustin and wife, Carissa Rhodes of Newcastle, Buddy Rhodes of California, and Jesse Taylor of the home; daughters: Sherry and husband, Jimmy Brown of Blanchard, Melissa Taylor of Lawton; seven granddaughters and 2 grandsons; parents: Harrel and Wanda Randle of Verden; brothers and sisters: Shirley and husband, Jackie Pugh of Verden, Diana and husband, Allen Cooper of Chickasha, David Randle, Keith and wife, Tammy Randle of Verden; the Taylor family of the Bridge Creek areas; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Pallbearers were family members: Roy Taylor, Jimmy Brown, Keith Randle, Dusty Rhodes, Murl and Chris Pugh. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2003, in the First Baptist Church, Verden, with Karen's uncle, Rev. Sam Milam officiating.
