Malcolm Udell Thoma was born July 9, 1926, and died on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 1 November 2002 MALCOLM UDELL THOMA Funeral service for Malcolm Udell Thoma, 76, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Malcolm Udell Thoma was born July 9, 1926, in Pocasset, Oklahoma, the son of Albert and Lena Thoma, and died October 30, 2002, in Chickasha. He and Lela George Hasler were married August 23, 1962. Mr. Thoma worked for the Chickasha Fire Department, worked for Henry Hoffman as a truck driver, and later while living at Jet, Oklahoma, for 35 years, worked for Kegelman Base with Vance Air Force Base in Enid. Also while living in Jet, he owned and operated M. T. Trailer Park. He came back to Chickasha 2 years ago. Mr. Thoma was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include: wife: Lela Thoma of the home; 2 sons: Gary Thoma of Chickasha, Lary Thoma of North Carolina' 2 stepsons: Joe Hasler of Ft. Worth, Texas, Bobby Hasler of Oklahoma City; 1 stepdaughter: Sherry Lynch of Chickasha; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
