HEREFORD - Jasper "Les" Thompson, 88, died Sunday, April 5, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parkside Chapel with the Rev. David Morris and the Rev. Harlan Resch officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born in Chickasa, Okla. He married Hester Shirley in 1931 at Portales, N.M., and moved to Hereford in 1935.
Mr. Thompson had been retired from Suits Auto in Hereford for several years.
Survivors include a son, Les Thompson Jr. of Denison; a daughter, Shirley Neighbors of Whitesboro; a brother, Art Thompson of Fritch; a sister, Ala Mae Hyatt of Albuquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
