TIMBERLAKE Funeral services for c, 89, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Bell of the First Christian Church officiating. Luella B. Timberlake was born November 23, 1912, in Kildare, Oklahoma, the daughter of E. A. Duroy and Ida E. Garrett Duroy. She died Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Chickasha. Luella grew up near Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she attended rural public schools and graduated from Ponca City High School. She married Willie Franklin Timberlake, in Prairie Chapel, Oklahoma, Near Ponca City, Oklahoma, June 16, 1935. Luella was a homemaker and assisted her husband with the family owned electrical business. In the late 1960s she and her husband moved to California and returned to Oklahoma in 1981, settling in Chickasha to be near her family. Luella was a member of the Rebekah's, the Royal Neighbors of America and a past member of the First Christian Church in Ponca City. She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers and one sister. Her husband Bill also preceded her in death on May 24, 2001. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Mark Stallbaumer, of Chickasha, Lynda and Joe Smith, of Tuttle; one brother, Alfred Duroy, of Ponca City; one sister, Hazel Stevens, of Oklahoma City; two grandsons, Teddy and Todd Stallbaumer, both of Chickasha, two granddaughters and their husbands, Kim and Garry Selvey, of Mustang, Oklahoma, Candy and Spencer Frasier, of Moore, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren Taylor and Lindsey Selvey and many nieces and nephews. We want to give special thanks to Betty Scarborough. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
