All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Erin Springs Cemetery--Lindsay OK Chickasha Express-Star Thursday, 10 November 2005 SHERRIE LYNN [TIMMONS] THOMAS Funeral services for Sherrie Lynn Thomas, 52, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2005, at the Grand Assembly of God Church, with Reverend Larry Hatfield officiating. Sherrie was born August 5, 1953, in Oklahoma City to C. F. and Helen (Bennett) Timmons. She went to be with her Savior November 9, 2005, at her home in Chickasha. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, but of late had been attending Grand Assembly Church of God in Chickasha. She worked at the Department of Human Services for 22 years, holding the position of Administrative Programs Officer II in Oklahoma City. She married Carl Richard "Rick" Thomas on June 21, 1997, at the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Chickasha. Sherrie loved people and enjoyed being with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Francella Timmons. Survivors include her husband, Rick Thomas, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law: Shawn and Billie Frick, of Hannibal, Missouri, Phillip and Rachel Frick, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Lynn and Amie Frick, of Fairfield, Iowa; and one brother, Ronnie Timmons, of Cookson, Oklahoma. Other survivors include three stepsons: Clint, Jason, and Douglas Thomas, all of Virginia; one niece, Misty Penick and husband Jeremiah, of Tupelo, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; and special friends: Norma Hayes, Priscilla Harper, Pat Tennery, and Geri Maloney. Interment will be in the Erin Springs Cemetery near Lindsey, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hospice of Chickasha. ========= Chickasha Express-Star Friday, 11 November 2005 SHERRIE THOMAS Funeral services for Sherrie Thomas, 52, of Chickasha, will be held at 20:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2005, in the Grand Assembly of God Church, with Larry Hatfield officiating. Sherrie Thomas was born August 5, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She died Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at her home in Chickasha after a courageous battle with cancer.
