William Samuel Tinsley IV, the son of William Samuel Tinsley III and Bertie Scott Tinsley, was born on October 20, 1947, in Oklahoma City. He died April 24, 2002, in Pocasset. He married Carol Robinson on August 4, 1989, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Tinsley was a carpenter and had served in the United States Naval Reserves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and one infant son. Survivors include: his parents, William and Bertie Tinsley, of Guthrie; brother and wife, Tony and Myrna Tinsley, of Wichita, Kansas; sister and husband, Cathie and Robert Moneypenny, of Broken Arrow; brother and wife, David and Joyce Tinsley, of Noble; stepson and wife, Ray and Carolyn Tedder, of Chickasha; stepson and wife, Chris and Stacy Tedder, of Wichita, Kansas; three grandchildren: Destanie, Cheritty and Carol Tedder, of Wichita, Kansas; numerous nephews and nieces. Interment will be at noon in the Mountain Park Cemetery in Mountain Park, Oklahoma. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
