TIMMONS Helen E. Timmons, age 81, of Alex, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2003, in Chickasha. She was born to Lonnie Lee Bennett and Myrtle Bennett on May 14, 1921, in Lindsay. Helen moved to Alex 1n 1995 from Rush Springs where they farmed for many years. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and growing flowers. Helen was a housewife for most of her life. She worked at the City Cafe in Rush Springs for 10 years and the dress factory in Lindsay. Helen spent most of her later years as a grandmother raising her grandchildren. Helen is survived by her son: Ronnie J. Timmons and daughter: Sherrie L. Thomas; sisters: Georgia L. Bunch, Anita McWhirter, and Jowanda Williams; grandchildren: Shawn Frick, Philip Frick, Lynn Frick and Misty Pennick; great grandchildren: Katelyn Frick, Phillip Frick, Miranda Frick, Payton Frick, Terrin Frick, Ian Frick, Logan Deberry, Cameron Frick, Kali Frick and Brooke Frick. She was preceded in death by her husband: C. F. Timmons. They were married in 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter: Glenna Francella Timmons. Services were at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2003, at Erin Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Troy Taylor officiating. Interment was at Erin Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tommie Bunch, Lonnie Bunch, Jerry McWhirter, Kent Williams, Doyle McWhirter, and Jeremiah Pennick. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Frick, Philip Frick and Lynn Frick.
